Notes

Dicliptera (Dicliptera squarrosa) is a perennial for pollinator gardens, specimen planting, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, loamy soil. Reddish-orange flowers appear in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, drawing butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds. Deer rarely make it their first choice. The clumping plant stays evergreen and tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Pineapple sage, Lemongrass, and Labyrinth dahlia.
