Notes

'Don Juan' anemone (Anemone coronaria 'Don Juan') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The double flowers are scarlet-red and open from early to late spring. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Primrose, Ornamental onion, and Snapdragon.
