Notes

'Dragons Eye' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Dragons Eye') is a perennial for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. It blooms in summer and draws butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. The flowers are fragrant, and the plant tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Nodding onion, and Foxtail barley.
