Notes
'Electric Slide' fire spinner ice plant (Delosperma 'Electric Slide') is a succulent. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil. Large fuchsia-pink flowers with yellow stamens carpet the evergreen mat in spring and again in summer, and they close at night. It sits low on the menu for deer. Give it well drained soil to protect it from winter wet.
Pairs well with Nepeta, Sea holly, and Feather reed grass.
