Notes

'Emory Paul' dahlia (Dahlia 'Emory Paul') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is one of the largest dahlias, with giant pink-purple blooms 10 to 12 inches across. Flowers open from early to late summer and again in autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them.

Pairs well with Lamb’s ear, Lemongrass, Vermillionaire cuphea, and June hosta.
