'Empress of India' nasturtium (Tropaeolum minus 'Empress of India') is an annual for containers and cut flowers. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. It grows 16 to 20 inches tall, which suits a pot or a small bed. Its colors include blue, green, and scarlet. This plant is a Victorian-era heirloom. You can pair it with other annuals for a bright mix of color.
