Notes

Hollyhock (Alcea rosea) is a perennial for pollinator gardens, naturalized areas, and annual beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. Rabbits tend to pass it by. White, pink, and red flowers open from early to late summer on tall stems, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Sensation Mix cosmos, Melampodium, and Red fescue.
