Notes

'Fairy Queen' mealycup sage (Salvia farinacea 'Fairy Queen') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Sapphire blue flowers with white spots open in spring, summer, and autumn, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Purple top, Gerbera daisy, and Mondo grass.
