Notes

'Fashionably Early Flamingo' phlox (Phlox 'Fashionably Early Flamingo') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. The fragrant blooms draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It also tolerates drought once settled in.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Black-eyed Susan, Bee balm, and Little bluestem.
