Notes

'Flavorcot' apricot (Prunus armeniaca 'Flavorcot') is a tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White flowers open from early to late spring and attract butterflies and bees. The fruit is grown for fresh eating and cooking, and the tree is self-fertile. Washington State University bred it.

Pairs well with American persimmon, Perennial candytuft, Ornamental onion, and Chardonnay grape.
