Notes

Perennial candytuft (Iberis sempervirens) is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It stays evergreen and forms a dense mat of green leaves with white flowers in spring and again in summer. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Spiked speedwell, Picture tulip, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
