Notes

Florida mock orange (Philadelphus inodorus) is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows 6 to 12 feet tall and has arching branches with age. Large white flowers are sweet-scented and attract bees. The older bark turns orange-brown and peels.

Pairs well with Eastern sweetshrub, Chokeberry, and Eastern redbud.
