Notes
'Innocence' mock orange (Philadelphus 'Innocence') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The flowers are fragrant and open in late spring and again from early to late summer. It can reach about 96 inches tall and spreads at least 72 inches, so give it room.
Pairs well with Snowberry, Monsieur Jules Elie peony, Prairie dropseed, and Blue Arrow Rocky mountain juniper.
