Notes

Florida privet (Forestiera segregata) is an evergreen shrub for hedges, woodland gardens, and low maintenance landscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It grows into a dense, irregular crown with short, much-branched trunks. It can form thickets, and it also tolerates drought and salt. Bees and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Beautyberry, Weeping yaupon holly, Coralbean, and Saw palmetto.
