Notes
Flowering tobacco (Nicotiana sylvestris) is an annual for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Fragrant white flowers rise on erect stems that reach 36 to 60 inches tall. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds all visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Pineapple sage, Lantana, Vermillionaire cuphea, and Moonflower.
Native range
South America.
