Notes

'Fortune' daffodil (Narcissus 'Fortune') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The fragrant blooms open in spring and attract butterflies and bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Plant it where you can enjoy the scent up close.

Pairs well with Salome daffodil, Angelique tulip, Queen of Night tulip, and Fire Island hosta.
