Notes
Foxtail prairie clover (Dalea leporina) is an annual for meadow plantings and woodland edges. It grows as an erect herb with branching stems and flowers in white, blue, and purple. The leaflets are green and smooth above, and they are paler underneath. The stems often turn green or purplish as they mature. Plants can reach about 1 meter tall, so give them space among taller neighbors.
Pairs well with Switchgrass, Cosmos, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
