Notes

Frogfruit (Phyla nodiflora) is a perennial for ground cover, low maintenance planting, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It spreads vigorously and offers nectar to butterflies and bees. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It tolerates drought and flooding.

Pairs well with Mondo grass, Cedar elm, and Autumn fern.
