Notes
'Garden Show' dahlia (Dahlia 'Garden Show') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The dark purple-red blooms open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers. E. van Dongen bred it.
Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Purple top, Catmint, and Blue Fortune Bill Williams Mountain giant hyssop.
