Notes

'Gardone' goldenrod (Solidago 'Gardone') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and loamy or clay soil. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit the flowers. Deer tend to pass it by. It also tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Dense blazing star, Switchgrass, and Mexican hat.
