Notes

'Gentle Shepherd' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Gentle Shepherd') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and low maintenance planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. White flowers with yellow-green throats are fragrant and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Rabbits tend to nibble other plants first. The plant also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Aromatic aster, Nodding onion, and Sedge.
