Notes
Glade mallow (Napaea dioica) is a tall perennial for rain gardens, wet borders, and back-of-the-bed screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun or part shade and wet soil. Stems reach up to 9 feet and branch near the top. White flowers crowd into large clusters from early to late summer. The big round leaves are cut into coarsely toothed lobes.
Pairs well with Masterwort, Marsh fern, Jim Dandy winterberry, and Broom sedge.
