Notes

Golden ragwort (Packera aurea) is a perennial for woodland gardens, ground cover, rain gardens, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to wet soil of most types. Its deep golden-yellow, daisy-like flowers attract bees. The roots colonize, so the plant can form a groundcover over time. Heart-shaped leaves are dark green above and purple beneath.

Pairs well with White wood aster, Christmas fern, and Blue star.
