Notes
'Golden Spring' alyssum (Alyssum wulfenianum 'Golden Spring') is a perennial for ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil. Yellow, fragrant flowers open in mid to late spring over evergreen foliage. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Drought tolerance makes it easy to care for once settled.
Pairs well with Nepeta, Blue grama, and Gladiator ornamental onion.
