Notes
'Golden Sunrise' Lenten rose (Helleborus 'Golden Sunrise') is a perennial for borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. It is evergreen, so the leaves give you color all year, and the flowers open from winter into spring. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It stays 12 to 24 inches tall and wide.
Pairs well with Common snowdrop, Siberian bugloss, and Caramel coral bells.
