Notes

Siberian bugloss (Brunnera macrophylla) is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland, borders, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Intense blue flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Western sword fern, and Eastern columbine.
