Notes

'Grand Cru' lily (Lilium 'Grand Cru') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows 36 to 48 inches tall and bears fragrant yellow blooms with maroon centers from early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. Vletter & den Haan bred it in 1991.

Pairs well with Kansas peony, Obsidian coral bells, and Big bluestem.
