Notes

Grass pink (Calopogon tuberosus) is a perennial orchid for containers, meadows, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and moist to wet, sandy soil. It grows 2 to 4 feet tall and has long, narrow, grass-like leaves. Sweet-smelling rose-pink flowers open one after another along the stem, and each has a bearded lip.
