Notes
Greater water dock (Rumex orbiculatus) is a perennial for wet sites and naturalized plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This tall herb can reach 72 inches. Green flowers open in mid to late spring and again in early to late summer. Give it room, since the stems rise high above the leaves.
Pairs well with Sedge, Western sword fern, and Common snowberry.
