Notes

Common snowberry (Symphoricarpos albus) is a shrub for borders, hedges, woodland gardens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to wet soil of most types. Small pink flowers attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, and the snow white berries that follow feed birds. It sits low on the menu for deer.

Pairs well with Red twig dogwood, Witch hazel, Sensitive fern, and Sedge.
