Notes

Green onion (Allium fistulosum) is a bulb for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It stays evergreen and blooms in spring and again in summer. Bees visit the flowers. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Chives, Caradonna sage, Siberian iris, and Rosemary.
