Notes

'Guinea Gold' winter aconite (Eranthis hyemalis 'Guinea Gold') is a bulb for borders, rock gardens, winter interest, and naturalized drifts. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It forms a clump and bears fragrant flowers that bees visit. It sits low on the menu for deer. The blooms open in winter and carry into spring.

Pairs well with Spanish bluebell, Carlton daffodil, Sedge, and White fringe tree.
