Notes

Hairy canary clover (Lotus herbaceus) is a perennial for borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It stays evergreen, handles drought well, and blooms in spring, summer, and autumn. Bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Meadow sage, Vetiver, and Millenium ornamental onion.
