Notes

'Hanging Basket Apricot' begonia (Begonia tuberhybrida 'Hanging Basket Apricot') is a perennial for borders, containers, and shade gardens, and it needs little care. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Flowers come in yellow, orange, pink, red, and white from spring through autumn. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It forms a clumping mound 12 inches tall and 12 to 24 inches wide.

Pairs well with Blue star fern, Mondo grass, and Endless Summer hydrangea.
