Notes
'Endless Summer' hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla 'Endless Summer') is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and foundation plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast to about 35 to 59 inches tall and wide, and it blooms from early to late summer and again in autumn. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It also tolerates salt, so it can handle tough sites.
Pairs well with Hosta, Astilbe, Western sword fern, and Fringed bleeding heart.
