Notes

Hardy yellow iceplant (Delosperma nubigenum) is a perennial for rock gardens, ground cover, containers, and borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or chalky soil. Bright yellow flowers open in early summer and keep coming through fall. Protect it from winter wet with well-drained soil or a spot in the rainshadow of a house. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, California poppy, and Red spider lily.
