Notes

'Harvest Moon' coneflower (Echinacea 'Harvest Moon') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It blooms from early to late summer and draws butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. The flowers are fragrant, and the plant tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Dense blazing star, Blue Fortune Bill Williams Mountain giant hyssop, Hardy geranium, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
