Notes
Bioritsu holly (Ilex bioritsensis) is an evergreen shrub for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows 15 to 20 feet tall and 10 to 15 feet wide, so give it room. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Pale yellow flowers open in mid to late spring.
