Notes

'Hot Blooded' lantana (Lantana camara 'Hot Blooded') is a shrub for pollinator gardens, containers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its arching, evergreen stems grow rapidly and bloom in summer and autumn, and the fragrant flowers draw butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Blue sage, Sundrops, and California poppy.
