Notes
'Sonoran Sunset' hummingbird's mint (Agastache cana 'Sonoran Sunset') is a perennial for rock gardens, pollinator gardens, and borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. It forms a short, stocky mound with magenta flowers that draw hummingbirds. The foliage smells of mint, and the flowers smell like chewing gum.
Pairs well with Lavandin, Autumn moor grass, Elfin mother of thyme, and Millenium ornamental onion.
