Notes

'Hyperion' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Hyperion') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Its yellow blooms are fragrant and open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Indian grass, and Nodding onion.
