Notes

'Indian Prince' pot marigold (Calendula officinalis 'Indian Prince') is an annual for borders, containers, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It shrugs off cool spells and light frost, though a hard freeze will damage it. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The mounding plants reach 24 to 36 inches tall, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Cosmos, Love-in-a-mist, and Aster.
