Notes

Indigo (Indigofera kirilowii) is a clumping shrub for borders, foundation plantings, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Rose flowers appear from early to late summer. The gold and yellow green foliage adds color, and the plant tolerates drought once settled.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Mountain mint, and Blue grama.
