Notes

Japanese snowball (Viburnum plicatum) is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows fast and forms a dense shape. Snow-white flowers open in spring and attract butterflies, bees, and birds. The green leaves turn color in fall.

Pairs well with Bloodgood Japanese maple, Autumn Frost hosta, and Grape hyacinth.
