Notes

'Joan Senior' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Joan Senior') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. Its fragrant white blooms with a green throat draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Rabbits tend to pass it by. The plant also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Indian grass, and Nodding onion.
