Notes
'Johnson' cherry (Prunus 'Johnson') is a shrub for specimen planting and the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows 96 to 120 inches tall and wide, so give it plenty of room to spread. White, fragrant flowers open in mid spring and make a pretty show when the plant stands alone in the yard.
Pairs well with Granny Smith apple, Briar rose, and Feather reed grass.
