Notes

Joseph's coat (Alternanthera ficoidea) is a perennial for borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. The foliage comes in gold, green, orange, purple, red, and variegated mixes. It spreads rapidly and stays low, and it is also drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Marvel of peru, American Dawn dahlia, and Anemone.
