Notes
Kashmir rowan (Sorbus cashmiriana) is a tree for low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows about 20 to 30 feet tall and spreads nearly as wide. Birds visit the tree, so it adds life to a yard. It prefers acid to neutral soil.
Pairs well with Mountain hydrangea, Japanese forest grass, and Simple-stemmed bugbane.
