'Katherine' crabapple (Malus 'Katherine') is a tree for specimen planting and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It bears double, pinkish-white blooms from early to late spring. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the tree. It also tolerates drought once established.
