Notes

Koa (Acacia koa) is a tree for shade, screening, and large landscapes. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It stays evergreen and bears pale yellow blooms. Give it plenty of room, since it can reach 50 to 80 feet tall.

Pairs well with Leyland cypress, Longleaf pine, Lemon grass, and Flame lily.
